Pottery Kiln Element-Terminals

Cylindrical Ceramic Spacer - Unit is a 3/4" Diameter Cylinder x 1/4" High with a 1/4" Diameter hole in the center.

NOTE: These are also used to hold thick elements in place by using it as a wedge between the element and the ceramic holder. See this Knowledgebase page.

Ceramic Element Terminal Block for Easy-Load kilns.

(NO LONGER USED ON NEW KILNS AS OF APPROXIMATELY Nov 1, 2025) - newer kilns need this block. Check your kiln before ordering. 

The unit includes the terminal screw, nuts, and stainless flat washers. Lock washers are no longer needed.

You may also need two mounting screws.

Ceramic Element Terminal Block for M Series (middle section) Easy-Fire Kiln Sections. 

Used in production until approximately Feb 1, 2025 on e18M, e18M-3, e23M, e23M-3, e28M-3 middle kiln sections that are 4.5" high.

M-Model kilns built after approximately Feb 1, 2025 use the universal terminal block. CHECK YOUR KILN BEFORE ORDERING. The new universal terminal block is not capable of replacing this block on a kiln. 

The unit includes the terminal screws, nuts, and stainless flat washers. Lock washers are no longer needed.

You may also need two mounting screws.

This older version of our Ceramic Element Terminal Block has been discontinued and directly replaced with two of these NEW BLOCKS for every one of the old block.

If your old block has 3 bolts (series configuration, as pictured) then you need to order one of these jumper wires as well. 

You will also need 4 of these screws (2 per NEW BLOCK). 

Reference the diagrams at the bottom of this page for wiring your new blocks based on whether you have parallel or series elements.

This is a set of components to move the cord connections on a DaVinci kiln ring to the outer element connection box.

The kit consists of:

1.  (1) Two Pole Terminal
2.  (1) Insulating board
3.  (2) Terminal Mounting Screws (#8 X 3/4" A Type 
4.  (2) #10 SS nuts
5.  (2) #10 SS washers
6.  (2) #10 SS split washers
7.  (1) #10 X 1/2" Self-Tapping screw (ground screw)
8.  (1) #10 star washer (for the ground screw)
9.  (1) Ground Symbol Sticker
10.  (1) 12" length of wire insulator sleaving for covering the cord wires (this gets cut to length to slip over the cord wires - may be WHITE or BLACK)
11.  (2) 8 Gauge 150 Deg C, 9" long Power Wires with a ring terminal to mount to the element connection and a stripped end to go in the new terminal block

24" Long piece of the red Element Board Material that is 1-1/4" Wide and 1/8" Thick

Element Insulator Bushing - Unit is used in conjunction with the Old Style (Red) Element Terminal Boards to keep the Element insulated from the Sheet Metal Casing

Internal Reference: C-BSH-C1620X-B1, C-BSH-C1620X-A1

Corderiete Ceramic Tube: Element Insulator Tube - 4" long 5/16" OD x 3/1"6 ID. Used in some front-loading kilns for insulated the element ends as they protrude throught he insulation.

Hex Head #10 2-1/2 Self-Tapping Screw for mounting EL Terminal Blocks, Stainless 400 Series

Mounting Kit for Old Style (Red) Element Terminal Boards - Kit includes six 1/4" high ceramic spacers and two #8 x 1-1/2" long stainless sheet metal screws.

#10-24 Stainless Steel Element Terminal Bolt - Unit is 1-1/4" Long and is used for all L&L kilns.

Note: past lengths used were 1-1/2" and 1-3/4" long. This is a direct replacement and should work in all situations. 

#10 Stainless Steel Flat Fender Washer - This is the large diameter (3/4" OD) washer used to sandwich element ends on the element terminal.

Unit includes one block and two Terminal Screw Assemblies.
