How to Read an L&L Kiln Nameplate Correctly

Why the nameplate matters

The nameplate has the serial number (which indicates the age of the kiln) and the voltage, phase, and watts information. This will help us identify the proper parts, especially elements, for your kiln.

This is a Data Nameplate that you will find on your kiln. For quicker, better service, obtain the Serial Number, Model Number, Voltage, Phase, Amps, and Watts for your email. This kiln was manufactured in May 2011.

How old is your kiln?

Here is the nameplate from an old L&L Manufacturing Company Kiln. L&L Kiln Mfg., Inc. sells many of the parts for these older kilns, but did not manufacture them. (We recommend that a competent professional evaluate the safety of older kilns, especially any kiln older than 25 years.)
