Troubleshoot an INF infinite input switch

  1. On an L&L manual kiln with INF switches, the indicator pilot light is always wired to the load side of the switch.
  2. If the light cycles on and off and then stays on all the time only when the switch is set to HIGH, you know the switch is functioning correctly.
  3. If the light does not come on, first check to see if the indicator lights of the other INF switches are able to come on.
  4. If they do, and it is just the one light on one INF switch not coming on- then it is most likely a bad switch.
  5. If all the lights are out, then the problem is likely related to the kiln-sitter or the power supply.
  6. Review all related parts.
