To stop heat leakage: Plug Element Holes

  1. Plug element holes if they are too large and you are getting too much heat in the element terminal boxes.
  2. Make sure power is disconnected from the kiln before doing this.
  3. Lightly stuff non-RCF ceramic fiber in the element holes from inside the kiln using a sharp tool like a very small screw driver.
