Shipping Front-Loading Kilns

Shipping and installing Easy-Load and eFL kilns can be a challenge because they are large, heavy and fragile. L&L controls the shipping of these kilns carefully to help prevent shipping damage. We use air ride trucks when possible for Easy-Load kilns.

Easy-Load Kilns

  1. Easy-Load Front-Loading kilns must be shipped to a commercial address that normally receives freight during business hours and where the kiln may be inspected for shipping damage and signed off as received in good condition. See the Easy-Load Front-Loader Checklist & Acceptance Form
  2. Note that you can get this crated for unloading by a forklift, for unloading by a pallet jack, or for doing either of those for export or for shipment to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.

eFL Series Kilns

  1. eFL Front-Loading kilns have recently been redesigned to allow for easier residential deliveries and setup. Details are on the Checklist:  eFL Series Front-Loader Checklist & Acceptance Form.
