Special Plugs & Cords

All standard cords on kilns under 60 amps are 6 feet. (Note that some kilns are directly wired because they are over 60 amps).
The standard cord for a single-phase kiln is a NEMA 6-50.
A 12-foot NEMA 6-50 cord is available as an option for any single-phase kiln that normally would get a 6-foot NEMA 6-50 cord.
No 12-foot 3-phase cords are available.
e18S, e18S-3, JD18, and JD18-S single-phase kilns can get a 6-foot OR 12-foot NEMA 14-30 plug, NEMA 10-30, OR a NEMA 6-30 plug.
Other than the cords listed here we do not make special cords. All kilns can be directly wired if necessary.
