POST FIRING CAUTIONS

  1. Review the current program before firing to ensure the correct profile is programmed.
  2. You may pick up an important mistake and save a whole load.
  3. Hit Review Prog after you have done your programming and the control display will scroll through the program. It only takes a minute or less.

Typical Messages and what they mean:

  1. S-bC (Slow Bisque) or it could be F-bC (Fast Bisque) or S-GL (Slow Glaze) or F-GL (Fast Glaze)
  2. PRHT (Preheat) followed by a value like 00.00 (This is the "candling time")
  3. CONE (Cone setting) followed by a value like 06
  4. °F (Degree F) or °C (Degree C) - the temperature scale setting of the control followed by a value like 1828 (the nominal final set point based on the cone that was selected)
  5. CNOS (Cone Offset) followed by a value like 91
  6. HOLd (Hold Time) followed by a value like 00.00
  7. dELA (Delay Time) followed by a value like 00.00 (This allows you to dealy the start time of the program)
  8. ALRM (Alarm) followed by a value like 9999 (the Alarm value is a temperature that a not very loud buzzer will go off when it is reached. If the Alarm value is set for 9999 it will not go off because the kiln cannot reach that temperature)
  9. ERCd (Error Codes turned ON or OFF) followed by either ON or OFF
  10. FIRE followed by a value like 3 (The number is the number of times you have started a program on this control)
