Cone 11 High Alumina Dry-Pressed Shelves

All shelves that are 15” in diameter and above are made of a high alumina cordierite body that holds up to Cone 11 firing with little warpage. They are "dry-pressed" rather than "slip-cast". This is what gives then greater strength, flatness and edge definition. These qualities are particularly important for the larger shelves.

L&L sells the highest grade posts on the market. They are very straight (even in lengths up to 12” long), precision cut for squareness and are strong without being excessively thick.
