If your kiln underfires with no error code:

The work is overfired but there is no error code. Here are some things to look for:

For your first firing, just do the following: You are going to split the first firing into two days so that someone can always be around to check on it.

1. Turn on kiln switch.
2. Wait to see IDLE, or press ENTER.
3. Choose a firing program by pressing one of the EASY-FIRE program butto
   

Yes. You can get the KISS System with a non-USB connector. It is an RS232 plug. This would cost $50 less than the current price of the KISS starter kit.

This is caused by a loose or not fully connected plastic ribbon on the back of the keypad that connects the keypad membrane to the electronics.

Possible Reasons for E-1 and Err1
