- Turn Off Power While Loading
- Keep Lid Closed When Kiln Is Not In Use

- Do Not Unload Kiln While Hot
- Be Careful of Sharp Objects
- Secure Lid While Loading or Unloading If You Have A Spring-Loaded Easy-Lift Hinge

KILN MODIFICATIONS CAUTIONS
- Keep an adequate fire extinguisher near the kiln and check it on a regular basis.
- You may want to check with your local fire authorities to see if there are any specific requirements they have such as sprinkler systems, automatic foam extinguishers, etc.
- Use a fire extinguisher that is rated for electrical fires (we recommend ABC rating).
